CoreLabs is the research center of Core Security, dedicated to advancing the state of offensive security research. The team discovers and responsibly discloses vulnerabilities, develops proof-of-concept exploits that become enterprise-grade modules in Core Impact’s certified exploit library, and publishes articles and advisories that contribute to the broader security community’s understanding of emerging threats.
CoreLabs also maintains Impacket, an open-source collection of Python classes for working with network protocols that has become a foundational tool for penetration testers and red teamers across the industry. It also serves as the basis for Core Impact’s Active Directory attack testing capabilities.
